France 2018 - Day 2

We have had a fantastic day today.  It was cold to start with - a chilly 5 degrees, but it soon warmed up when the sun came out.

After a traditional French breakfast we embarked on a tour of the chateau before heading into Rue for the Saturday market.  The 'Bon Bon' stall was probably the most popular!

This afternoon we headed first to a dairy farm where we learnt how cows are milked and the crops that are grown.  Then we made and tasted our own butter - delicious.  After that we travelled to a chocolate factory and learnt all about how they make their specialist chocolates (and got to do some tasting too).

This evening we are doing a scavenger hunt before our nightly sport challenge.  Rounders last night and Danish longball tonight.

Tomorrow we're off to Nausicaa and the beach.
