The Equality Act 2010
At CKJS we do not discriminate against anyone, be they staff or pupil or parent, on the grounds of ethnicity, religion, attainment, age, disability, gender, pregnancy, sexual orientation or background in line with the Public Sector Equality Duty set out in the Equality Act 2010.
We have due regard to the need to:

- Advance equality of opportunity
- Foster good relations between all
We believe that equality at CKJS should permeate all aspects of school life and is the responsibility of every member of the school and wider community. Everyone should feel safe, secure, valued and of equal worth.
As such, all our policies and procedures are informed by the requirements of the Public Sector Equality Duty.
